Zealand Pharma announces initiation of the registrational Phase 3 ZUPREME program of petrelintide in people with overweight or obesity

Zealand Pharma announced the initiation of its global Phase 3 ZUPREME program for petrelintide, a once-weekly injectable treatment for weight management. The program consists of three trials enrolling approximately 7,000 participants across different patient populations. The Phase 3 advancement is based on positive Phase 2 results showing double-digit weight loss with a tolerability profile comparable to placebo. The development is being conducted in partnership with Roche.
