Wynson Securities Limited Announces Continued Progress on NextEra Energy and Dominion Energy Combination

NextEra Energy and Dominion Energy announced continued progress on their proposed all-stock combination following shareholder approval on September 3, 2026. The merger would create one of the largest U.S. electric utility platforms serving approximately 10 million customer accounts across Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, with combined generation capacity of 110 gigawatts. Dominion Energy shareholders will receive 0.8138 NextEra Energy shares per share owned, with the transaction expected to close in the second half of 2027, pending regulatory approvals.
