Why Is Payoneer Global Stock Gaining Monday?

Nuvei announced it will acquire Payoneer Global in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $2.75 billion, with Payoneer shareholders receiving $7.40 per share. The combined company is expected to generate about $3 billion in annual revenue and process over $500 billion in annual payment volume. PAYO stock gained 4.15% following the announcement. The deal is expected to close in mid-2027, subject to shareholder approval and regulatory clearances.
