Why H&R Block Stock Jumped This Week

H&R Block shares rose over 16% this week following strong fiscal 2026 results and increased shareholder returns. The company reported 4.9% revenue growth to $3.95 billion and 6.9% adjusted net income growth to $688 million. H&R Block repurchased nearly 8% of outstanding shares and raised its quarterly dividend by 10% to $0.46 per share, marking its ninth consecutive annual increase. The company guided for fiscal 2027 revenue exceeding $4.1 billion and adjusted EPS of $6.04-$6.24.
