Vishay Intertechnology 200 A Power Module Saves Space, Lowers Conduction Losses, and Increases Reliability in MHEVs and LEVs

Vishay Intertechnology introduced a new 200 A power module (VS-HOT200C080) designed for 48V traction inverters in light electric vehicles and mild-hybrid electric vehicles. The module reduces board space by up to 15%, decreases conduction losses by 32% compared to competitors, and features best-in-class on-resistance of 0.45 mΩ. The device integrates MOSFETs, shunt resistor, bypass capacitors, and temperature sensing in a compact FlatPAK HC0 package with samples and production quantities available now.
