Vicor licenses VPD to a leading AI OEM

Vicor has granted a non-exclusive license to a new OEM licensee for Vertical Power Delivery (VPD) modules, enabling high-performance AI compute and network processors. The licensing model provides multi-source flexibility and supply chain redundancy, with lower royalty rates for early adopters. Vicor also announced plans to acquire sites for additional ChiP fabs to expand manufacturing capacity in response to AI demand.
