Unitil Completes Purchase of Two Water Companies in New Hampshire from the Aquarion Water Authority

Unitil Corporation completed its $55.8 million acquisition of Aquarion Water Company of New Hampshire and Abenaki Water Co., adding approximately 11,000 water customers across eight New Hampshire communities. The deal, funded through a Scotiabank term loan, is expected to be earnings accretive and support Unitil's long-term 5-7% earnings per share growth target. The acquisition expands Unitil's total customer base to approximately 226,100 across New England.
