U.S. FDA Approves Revolution Medicines’ RASONQUE™ (daraxonrasib), the First Broad RAS-Targeted Medicine in Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer

The FDA has approved RASONQUE (daraxonrasib), developed by Revolution Medicines, as the first targeted RAS inhibitor for treating metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma in patients who have received prior systemic therapy or are not candidates for multiagent chemotherapy. In the Phase 3 RASolute 302 trial, RASONQUE reduced the risk of death by 60% compared to chemotherapy, with median overall survival of 13.2 months versus 6.7 months, and demonstrated manageable safety with improved quality of life measures.
