Ascendis Pharma announced that the European Medicines Agency's CHMP committee issued a positive opinion for TransCon CNP (Navepegritide), a once-weekly treatment for achondroplasia in children aged 2+ years with open epiphyses. The European Commission is expected to make a final decision in Q4 2026, with market launch in Germany anticipated for Q1 2027 under the brand name YUVIWEL®. The drug was previously approved by the FDA in February 2026.
