Theriva™ Biologics Announces Results from VCN-01 Phase 1 Clinical Trial in Head and Neck Cancer Published in Clinical Cancer Research

Theriva Biologics reported Phase 1 trial results for VCN-01, an oncolytic adenovirus combined with durvalumab, in immunotherapy-refractory head and neck squamous cell carcinoma patients. The study demonstrated prolonged overall survival (15.5-17.3 months depending on dosing arm) and biomarker evidence supporting VCN-01's stroma-degrading and immune-enhancing mechanisms. Results were published in Clinical Cancer Research journal.
