STARLUX Airlines received delivery of its first special livery aircraft, the STARLUX AIRSORAYAMA Silver, an Airbus A350-1000 featuring a custom liquid-metal design by renowned Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama. The aircraft departed Toulouse on July 4, 2026, piloted by Chairman K.W. Chang, arriving in Taiwan on July 5. The collaboration involved developing custom metallic colors with Pantone and specialized coatings with MANKIEWICZ to achieve Sorayama's signature aesthetic.
