Thailand Puts Productivity at the Center of AI Transformation with National AI Roadmap

Thailand officially launched its National AI Roadmap for Sustainable Productivity of Industries, emphasizing measurable productivity gains rather than AI adoption itself. The roadmap sets targets including 15% productivity increase by 2030, 60% AI adoption among large enterprises, and certification of 50,000 industrial workers. The initiative highlights Thailand's declining labor productivity (2.1% during 2015-2023) and positions AI as a tool to create value through improved output, reduced defects, and enhanced worker capability.
