Telia Lietuva invests EUR 7.1 million to expand 5G and upgrade 500 base stations

Telia Lietuva announced a EUR 7.1 million investment in 2026 to expand its mobile network, including 50 new base stations, modernization of 300 existing sites, and deployment of newly acquired 1,500 MHz spectrum. The company also secured 40 MHz of spectrum in an auction for nearly EUR 10 million and renewed its 2,100 MHz license for EUR 2 million, positioning itself as Lithuania's largest 5G network operator with 99.7% territorial coverage.
