Sysco Urges Teamsters Locals 630 and 848 to End Strike as Parties Agree Economic Terms

Sysco Corporation has called on Teamsters Locals 630 and 848 to end their strike at the Los Angeles facility, stating that wages, benefits, and other economic terms have been agreed upon. The sole remaining issue is union-demanded language that could permit strikes at any time. Sysco's final offer includes an $8.00-per-hour wage increase by April 2027, representing over 40% wage growth over the contract term, along with increased pension contributions, additional vacation time, and double-time pay after 12 hours.
