Survey Exposes a Crisis of Avoidance in Family Caregiving

A LogicMark survey of 1,000 U.S. adults reveals a critical gap in family caregiving: while 89% of older adults want to age in place, nearly half have never discussed care preferences with loved ones, and only 19% have detailed conversations about their wishes. The study shows seniors fear becoming a burden more than death, yet technology acceptance is high (67-87%), suggesting solutions exist but planning conversations remain the missing link.
