Sompo announces Henry MacHale as Chief Underwriting Officer and Head of Strategy, International Markets

Sompo has appointed Henry MacHale as Chief Underwriting Officer and Head of Strategy for its International Markets insurance business, covering 22 countries across four regions. MacHale, formerly Group Chief Strategy Officer at Aspen, will be based in London and report to CEO Alessa Quane. The appointment aims to strengthen underwriting performance, enhance governance and risk controls, and drive organic and inorganic growth opportunities across the business.
