Smith+Nephew lancia in Europa CARTIHEAL™ AGILI-C™, l’innovativo impianto per la riparazione della cartilagine, che sarà presentato all’ICRS Summit in Portogallo.

Smith+Nephew announced the commercial launch of CARTIHEAL AGILI-C, an innovative cartilage repair implant, across Europe. The aragonite-based scaffold will be presented at the ICRS Summit in Portugal (October 8-10). A randomized controlled trial published in the American Journal of Sports Medicine demonstrated clinical superiority over standard surgical care, with patients showing improved pain relief and functional outcomes over 5 years. The implant will initially be available in 8 European countries with plans for further expansion.
