Satellos Announces FDA Clearance of IND Application for Forazapadin in Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy (FSHD) and a Partnership with FSHD Canada Foundation Providing Non-Dilutive Financing to Support Clinical Development

Satellos Bioscience received FDA clearance for its IND application to test forazapadin in facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD), expanding the drug candidate into a second degenerative muscle disease. The FSHD Canada Foundation will provide up to US$5 million in non-dilutive financing to support clinical development, with a Phase 2 study expected to begin in Q4 2026. Forazapadin is an AAK1 inhibitor designed to restore muscle repair and regeneration.
