Russian National Extradited To US Over Alleged Role In Microsoft-Tracked Void Blizzard Cyberattacks

Denis Obrezko, a 36-year-old Russian national, has been extradited to the US and charged with conspiracy to commit unauthorized computer access related to the Void Blizzard hacking group. Microsoft identified Void Blizzard as a Russia-linked cyber espionage threat actor targeting NATO members, Ukraine, and US organizations across multiple sectors. The FBI confirmed at least 11 US companies were compromised, with authorities believing the actual number is significantly higher.
