Rocket Lab Just Booked Its Biggest Contract Ever (Again)

Rocket Lab secured its fifth major contract in 2026, with Japanese company Synspective ordering 20 additional rocket launches, bringing their total order to 47 launches worth approximately $168 million. The launches will run from 2028-2031, boosting Rocket Lab's backlog beyond $840 million. However, the company postponed its first Neutron reusable rocket launch to 2027, and profitability is not expected until 2027 even with the pending Iridium acquisition.
