RENK Group AG has signed a binding agreement to acquire David Brown Defence through its subsidiary RENK GmbH. The UK-based company specializes in high-precision gearboxes for marine and land defense sectors. The acquisition provides RENK access to major marine programs in the UK, Canada, and Australia, with expected operational and technological synergies. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close in Q4 2026.
