Q/C Technologies Announces Research Collaboration with Sandia National Laboratories, a $5 Billion U.S. Department of Energy Lab

Q/C Technologies announced a research collaboration with Sandia National Laboratories' Center for Integrated Nanotechnologies to advance its optical processing unit (OPU) initiative for AI inference. The partnership will focus on nanophotonic components and scalable optical AI processing, addressing challenges in nonlinear operations, memory, precision, and system integration. Q/C Technologies recently established a 4,800-square-foot integrated photonics laboratory in San Francisco.
