Powell Max Limited announced a 1.5% initial equity stake in Blackrod Holdings, LLC, which owns exclusive rights to manufacture and sell Remington Firearms. Remington's new state-of-the-art facility in LaGrange, Georgia is expected to begin production of Model 700 rifles and Model 870 shotguns reaching U.S. retail channels this fall, with an option for Powell Max to acquire majority ownership within 12 months.
