PolyPid to Present D-PLEX₁₀₀ Microbiology Data at IDWeek 2026

PolyPid announced results from a pooled microbiology analysis of three randomized trials (N=2,185) showing that D-PLEX₁₀₀ demonstrated lower bacterial burden in breakthrough surgical-site infections (16% vs 27% heavy bacterial growth, p=0.034) and delayed SSI onset compared to standard of care, without selecting for multidrug-resistant organisms. The findings support D-PLEX₁₀₀'s 60% relative risk reduction in SSI prevention demonstrated in the Phase 3 SHIELD II trial.
