Over 100 Organizations Thank America’s Blood Donors on World Blood Donor Day

More than 100 prominent organizations have united to promote World Blood Donor Day on June 14, 2026, and Blood Advocacy Week (June 8-12). The initiative highlights that while blood transfusions are needed every 2 seconds in America, less than 3% of eligible Americans donate blood. The campaign theme is 'One Drop of Humanity. Give Blood. Save Lives.' emphasizing the critical need for volunteer blood donors.
