Onconetix announced that Realbotix, its pending acquisition target, has partnered with Bloom Procurement Services to launch a pilot program deploying socially assistive humanoid robots in UK care settings to address loneliness among elderly residents. Realbotix has been accredited as a supplier on Bloom's public sector marketplace. The acquisition is expected to close in the second half of 2026, subject to shareholder approval and regulatory clearances.
