OceanFirst Financial Corp. Completes Previously Announced Sale of $1.3 Billion of New York City Multifamily Loans

OceanFirst Financial Corp. completed the sale of $1.3 billion in multifamily loans, primarily from the NYC metropolitan area and largely subject to rent regulations. The transaction, which included approximately 1,400 loans originated by Flushing Bank (acquired via merger on June 1, 2026), reduces the company's exposure to rent-regulated properties to less than 2.5% of total assets. The sale price was consistent with initial valuation estimates.
