NVO's Ozempic Outshines LLY's Mounjaro in Lowering Cardiovascular Risk

Novo's COMPETE SWITCH CV study found that patients who escalated their Ozempic dose to 2 mg had a 6% lower observed risk of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) compared to those who switched to Eli Lilly's Mounjaro. However, the study shows association rather than causation and did not evaluate safety outcomes.
