Novartis announced that del-brax, an investigational therapy acquired through its $12 billion acquisition of Avidity Biosciences, met primary and key secondary endpoints in a Phase 1/2 study for facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD). The therapy demonstrated strong target engagement and reduced muscle injury markers, supporting the dosing regimen for the ongoing Phase 3 FORTITUDE-3 trial.
