National Honey Month Meets Hunger Action Month – the Result?

Sioux Honey Co-op and Weis Markets donated 4,860 pounds of SUE BEE® Clover Honey (9,720 eight-ounce bottles) to the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank on September 30, 2026, marking the end of National Honey Month and Hunger Action Month. The donation, part of Sioux Honey's 'Sharing Sweetness' initiative, brings the co-op's total honey donations to over 109,000 pounds in the past two years. The honey will support the Food Bank's nutrition education programs serving 27 counties where 1 in 8 people face food insecurity.
