National Advertising Division to Refer Kendal to Government Agencies and Advertising Platforms for Electing Not to Participate in Compliance Inquiry

The National Advertising Division (NAD) of BBB National Programs will refer Kendal Nutricare Limited to government agencies and advertising platforms for enforcement action after the company refused to participate in a compliance inquiry. This follows a challenge by Abbott Laboratories regarding Kendamil Infant Formula advertising claims about whole milk, breast milk, HMOs, and milk fat content that NAD had previously recommended be discontinued or modified.
