Mortgage Rates Average 6.49%

Freddie Mac's Primary Mortgage Market Survey shows the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 6.49% as of June 25, 2026, up slightly from 6.47% the previous week. Rates have remained relatively stable over the last six weeks. The 15-year FRM averaged 5.84%. Chief Economist Sam Khater noted that purchase activity has eased modestly while refinance activity has picked up recently.
