MADD Canada launches its 39th annual Operation Red Ribbon campaign to promote sober driving during the holiday season. The campaign honors Suparna and Suranjan Das, who were killed in an alcohol-related collision in 2022. For the first time, campaign materials are available in Bengali, French, and English. From November 1, 2026 to January 4, 2027, volunteers will distribute red ribbons and car stickers while organizing local events to raise awareness and funds. Nearly 50 landmarks across Canada will be illuminated in red to honor victims and support survivors.
