Leading European Real Assets Manager Stoneshield Capital to Join Forces with Franklin Templeton and Clarion Partners

Franklin Templeton, through its subsidiary Clarion Partners, has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Stoneshield Capital, a leading European real assets manager with €8 billion in AUM. The transaction will triple Clarion's European AUM to €11 billion and increase total AUM to €72 billion, while bringing Franklin Templeton's total Alternatives AUM to over €265 billion. Stoneshield's co-founders will remain in leadership roles. The deal is expected to close in Q4 2026.
