Japan’s Robotics and Manufacturing Leaders Build on NVIDIA Cosmos to Advance Physical AI Frontier

NVIDIA announced Cosmos 3 Edge, a 4-billion-parameter model for on-device vision reasoning and robot policy deployment on Jetson platforms. The company expanded the NVIDIA Cosmos Coalition to Japan, with major manufacturers including FANUC, Fujitsu, Hitachi, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Kubota, NEC, SoftBank, Sony, and Yaskawa Electric intending to join. Multiple Japanese companies are building physical AI solutions across robotics, manufacturing, agriculture, and smart infrastructure using NVIDIA's technology stack.
