InspireMD Announces First Patient Enrolled in the CGUARDIANS III Pivotal Study of the SwitchGuard Neuro Protection System for Use in TCAR Procedures

InspireMD announced the first patient enrollment in the CGUARDIANS III pivotal study for its SwitchGuard neuro protection system used with CGuard Prime 80 cm stent in TCAR procedures. The prospective, multi-center study will enroll approximately 103 subjects to evaluate safety and efficacy for treating carotid artery stenosis. The company projects 70,000 TCAR procedures annually in the U.S. by 2030.
