HII Wins U.S. Navy Contract for 10 ROMULUS USVs, Accelerating Deployment of Proven Autonomous Capability

HII has been awarded a U.S. Navy contract to build 10 ROMULUS unmanned surface vessels (USVs) for the Medium Unmanned Surface Vessel (MUSV) program. The contract marks a significant milestone in transitioning autonomous maritime systems from experimentation to fleet-scale operational deployment. HII is leveraging its Odyssey Autonomous Control Solutions and a distributed production model with regional Gulf Coast partners to deliver the vessels at scale.
