GROUPE BNP PARIBAS : ARVAL A FINALISÉ L’ACQUISITION D’ATHLON

Arval, a BNP Paribas subsidiary, has completed its acquisition of Athlon (formerly Mercedes-Benz Group's subsidiary) on July 31, 2026. The combined entity now manages 2.3 million vehicles, establishing itself as a co-leader in European long-term vehicle leasing. The acquisition is expected to deliver an 18% return on invested capital and contribute approximately €200 million to net income by year three, with a -13 basis point impact on the CET1 ratio.
