Google Is Taking a Major Step Forward Toward Space-Based AI Data Centers

Google is launching an experimental satellite on October 1st as part of Project Suncatcher to test space-based AI data centers. The satellite will operate on solar power and house Google's tensor processing units (TPUs) to answer simple AI queries for a year.
