Genmab and AbbVie Provide Clarification on Phase 3 EPCORE® DLBCL-1 Trial Evaluating Epcoritamab (DuoBody®-CD3xCD20) in Patients with Relapsed/Refractory Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma (DLBCL)

Genmab and AbbVie announced that the Phase 3 EPCORE DLBCL-1 trial evaluating epcoritamab (a T-cell engaging bispecific antibody) failed to meet its primary endpoint of overall survival in the United States when compared to standard chemotherapy in patients with relapsed/refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Despite the trial failure, epcoritamab remains approved under accelerated approval and the companies continue to evaluate the therapy in other clinical programs.
