Generation Mining Secures Full Project Financing to Build Canada's Next Critical Minerals Mine

Generation Mining has secured $340 million in final funding to complete the fully financed construction package for its Marathon Copper-Palladium Project in Northwestern Ontario. The funding includes investments from Canada Growth Fund ($140M), Canada Infrastructure Bank ($50M), and a $200M bought deal financing. With previously announced financings, the total construction package reaches approximately $1.3 billion. The company also signed an offtake agreement with Glencore for concentrate production and plans to begin early works construction in Q4 2026.
