GE Aerospace Announces AerCap Selects GEnx Engines to Power 15 Additional Boeing 787 Dreamliners

AerCap Holdings, the world's largest owner of Boeing 787 aircraft, has selected GE Aerospace's GEnx-1B engine to power an additional 15 Boeing 787 Dreamliners. The GEnx engine has demonstrated a 99.98% dispatch reliability rate and stays on-wing at three times the rate of competing engines. GE Aerospace is investing over €110 million in European facilities and $1 billion across U.S. manufacturing sites to increase production capacity.
