Galectin Therapeutics Presents New EASL 2026 Oral and Poster Analyses Demonstrating Belapectin’s Potential to Modify Disease Progression in Advanced MASH Cirrhosis

Galectin Therapeutics presented new data from its NAVIGATE trial at EASL 2026 showing that belapectin 2 mg/kg demonstrated statistically significant reduction in new varices development at 18 months (p=0.04) and improvements in liver stiffness in patients with advanced MASH cirrhosis. The poster presentation on portal hypertension risk reduction was designated a TOP Poster at the conference. These findings support belapectin's potential as a disease-modifying therapy, with no currently approved alternatives available for this indication.
