Firefly Aerospace Selected as a Vendor for NASA’s $10 Billion CLPS 2 Initiative

Firefly Aerospace has been selected as a vendor under NASA's $10 billion Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) 2 contract, enabling the company to compete for task orders over a 10-year period. Following the successful Blue Ghost Mission 1 lunar landing in March 2025, Firefly is scaling up its lander technology to deliver heavier cargo and infrastructure for NASA's Moon Base and Artemis program. The company has also won four additional CLPS 1 missions and is expanding production capabilities.
