Finally, Some Good News for Lucid -- but There's a Catch

Lucid announced partnerships to deploy 45,000 autonomous vehicles: 25,000 with Bolt in Europe and 20,000 with Uber and Nuro in the U.S. While these deals represent positive momentum for the struggling EV maker, the catch is that Lucid delayed its midsize platform to late 2027, and autonomous vehicle technology remains unproven at scale, making these commitments largely speculative for now.
