EyePoint Announces Topline Results from LUCIA, the Second Pivotal Phase 3 Clinical Trial of DURAVYU™ in Wet AMD

EyePoint announced that LUCIA, its second Phase 3 clinical trial of DURAVYU for wet AMD treatment, failed to meet its primary endpoint of non-inferiority in visual acuity versus aflibercept control. However, the drug demonstrated visual improvement and met key secondary endpoints including a 38% reduction in treatment burden and strong anatomic control. The company plans to conduct additional analyses and remains focused on its Phase 3 DME program with data expected in Q4 2027.
