Eviden launches SMX, its new electromagnetic speed log for surface and underwater drones

Eviden, the Atos Group product brand, has launched SMX, a new electromagnetic speed log designed for uncrewed surface and underwater vehicles. The compact sensor, rated to 300 meters depth, measures speed through water with high accuracy to support autonomous naval operations. SMX is designed and manufactured in France at Eviden's facility in Aix-en-Provence and features no acoustic emissions, making it suitable for both military and civilian oceanographic applications.
