Equally Created, the CarMax Foundation and KABOOM! Unveil Kid-Designed Playground in Nashville

A new community-built playground opened at Equally Created in Nashville on November 5, 2026, designed by kids and built by volunteers from the community, CarMax Foundation, and KABOOM!. The playspace will serve 140 students and is part of KABOOM!'s nationwide effort to end playspace inequity. CarMax Foundation provided majority funding and employee volunteers, while KABOOM! continues its 30-year mission to transform playspaces and advance children's physical and mental health.
