Eli Lilly Eyes Label Expansion For Leukemia Drug

Eli Lilly announced that its Phase 3 BRUIN CLL-322 trial met its primary endpoint, showing that adding Jaypirca (pirtobrutinib) to venetoclax and rituximab significantly improved progression-free survival in patients with relapsed or refractory chronic lymphocytic leukemia. The combination reduced disease progression or death risk by 45% compared to the two-drug regimen alone, with benefits observed across high-risk patient groups. Lilly plans to submit results to regulatory authorities for label expansion.
