Eldorado Gold’s Skouries Mine Designated as a Strategic Project Under the EU Critical Raw Materials Act

Eldorado Gold announced that its Skouries copper-gold mine in northern Greece has been designated as a Strategic Project under the European Union's Critical Raw Materials Act. The designation recognizes the mine's importance in supporting Europe's domestic supply chains for critical raw materials and energy transition. Skouries, one of Europe's largest new copper-gold mines, recently began operations and is expected to produce for approximately 20 years, supporting hundreds of jobs and representing over US$2 billion in investment.
